Caregivers

All of our Home Caregivers are carefully screened, trained and supervised.  They are all Certified Nursing Assistants or Trained In-Home Aids who are qualified to assist clients with activities of daily living.

Key activities of daily life keep people living independently and safely. These are the basic functions in life that must be accomplished. When people cannot do these activities independently, they all too often end up in facilities instead of remaining in their homes where they want to be. These basic activities include:

  • Assist with meal preparation for the client

  • Assist the client with bathing, showering, shampoo and shaveing

  • Assist the client with getting into and out of bed

  • Assist with dressing

  • Medication reminders

  • Range of motion exercises

  • Assist with incontinent care

  • Toileting

  • Emptying catheter bags

  • Assist with ambulation and transfers

  • Laundry

  • Light Housekeeping

  • Transportation

  • Socialization

  • Running errands for the client

  • Reading and letter writing assistance
  • Oversee home deliveries and repairs
  • Shopping and errands
  • Plan visits and social outings
  • Companionship
